Service Pricing
Our supply contract module is based on an open book policy and wholesalers or fleets committing to 2500+ units can expect prices from as low as £00.30 per day, including hardware, airtime, web hosting and support but excluding installation. This price is calculated over 36 months and offered when there is an irrevocable commitment. It can not be offered for volume built from a low-start.
Requirements for less than 2500 units will be subject to an individual quotation.
We do not accept or offer first or third party product leasing or product capitalisation but alternatively offer a deposit scheme with a variable service price capped and paid for in advance with £150.00 deposit per unit. The variable rental will be dependent on the volume of units installed and service level but pricing starts from £00.16 per day. (Annual fee @.0.16p p. d £58.40).
Your reseller or valued added reseller may add addition charges for their service application. The recommended retail price direct to fleets is £270.00 deposit plus £10.00 a month per vehicle.
A fee will be charged at £250.00 where Airmax Remote staff are requested to locate a vehicle reported as stolen. This fee is generally recoverable from your insurer. It is payable on instruction whether the vehicle is recovered or not.
Overseas costing and transfer prices will be agreed in advance and may be subject to currency exchange rates at the time.
We do not look for claw back or invoke penalties. Our supply contract does not penalise for cancellation or early termination. The deposit scheme with monthly contract can be cancelled with only three months notice at any time.
Airmax will participate in joint ventures with approved schemes and partners under open book arrangements with profit share.
We do not generally support free trials but will look at each opportunity on its merits and decide accordingly.
Airtime
Airmax will offer a fair use policy and reserves the right to add charges for abuse and malicious damage or where an application usage is above the normal. Normal for the purposes of this is equal to or less than 1 megabyte of GPRS data per month. There is no rollover and no aggregation of multiple SIMs.
Airtime pricing will vary outside the UK and when vehicles are roaming. Worldwide GSM roaming tariffs are available but subject to a separate levy and outside the standard tariff.
If you choose Orange as your data provider for your GSM cell location database there will be a ‘one-off’ additional charge of £10.00 per vehicle at the beginning of the contract.
If you choose Wireless Logic as your data provider then the annual service fee is payable two years in advance.
Remote Telematics Unit (RTU)
De-installs and re-installs are not included in the price.
Units de-installed and re-installed into different vehicles will be subject to a £5.00 administration fee. This may be waved if the contract is continued. However, the unit may require data cleansing and refurbishment at a cost.
Lost or mislaid units, regardless of reason, will be charged at £150.00 unless title had been transferred.
Price includes returns in the event of product failure, support and free over-air upgrades.
Call out charges will be payable to any third party installation company except where subject to guarantee.
Title of the unit will pass to the customer on receipt of £150.00 plus VAT and six months paid for service.
Bolt-ons
This pricing relates to our standard system (specification on request) and any bolt-on services will be sold as extras and priced before delivery. Additional services may increase the standard bundled airtime and will be charged accordingly.
Examples of Bolt-on accessories are, but not exclusive to:
- 3 dimensional accelerometers
- Vehicle alarms or interface unit
- Remote door unlocking sensors
- Memory cards
- Bluetooth
- Cameras
- Multiple SIM cards
- Battery packs
- Immobilisation
The system does not include eco optimisation maps which are sold separately.
Requests for external system integration will be negotiated and charged on a day rate.
