Airmax Remote is a new concept in vehicle telematics. It uniquely interrogates each of the vehicle’s ECUs and adds GPS data. There are several groups that are interested in this type of data. By re-programming the ECUs, through a process called “fuel optimisation” we can provide a better optimisation of the engine for typical UK driving conditions and styles. Historically ECUs were ‘chipped’ or re-mapped for power or performance but these days this includes specific profiles for fuel economy and resultant lowering of CO2.
Having your cars ECU optimised changes all the parameters that are set for compromise to optimise. Better fuel consumption, more power, lower CO2 levels at specific, optimum and usual driving conditions, reduces and eliminates flat spots giving you a smoother power curve for a better driving experience all of this can be achieved without reaching any of the safe tolerance put on the engine and therefore not affecting it’s life.

Airmax has introduced mycarcam, a low cost digital camera system that is proving itself invaluable within fleet management, driver safety and insurance claim scenarios.
mycarcam automatically captures digital movie of vehicle events and is triggered automatically whenever a threshold above a certain ‘G Force’ or impact rate, occurs. It also incorporates a facility allowing the driver to manually capture images wherever they feel is appropriate.
